Dry skin often presents as dull and tired looking skin. It can feel tight, have red patches, be flaky and have visible fine lines. Very dry skin may even become cracked in places. Dry skin is more prone to damage, flareups and inflammation.
Generally people with dry skin produce less Sebum in comparison to normal skin types. There can be a struggle to keep moisture locked into the skin calls allowing the skin to be easily damaged and susceptible to damage from free radicals.

How to treat it?

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid occurs naturally in the body and decreases with age. In the skin it is found in the epidermis and helps keep the skin hydrated due to its high water retention ability. As we mature our production rate decreases and this can be seen with early signs of aging.


Vitamin B3 and B group vitamins are essential for healthy cellular metabolism. It is thought to be beneficial in preventing moisture loss from the skin and may even assist in evening out skin tone.

Shae Butter

Shea butter is utilised for its protecting and emollient properties. It is also thought to protect the skin from UV rays. Packed with Vitamin E it is a fantastic natural dry skin treatment. It has also been show to help strengthen the skins natural barrier due to its palmitic, stearic and linoleic acid content.

Mango Butter

 Rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, mango butter is thought to help restore the skins natural barrier. It has been used for centuries due to the high Vitamins E and A content as well as high antioxidant activity.

 Jojoba Oil

An oil which closely resembles the sebum within the skin, it is rich in Vitamin E and B, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.

Camellia Leaf

A rich source of anti oxidants, such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Green tea extract is used worldwide for its anti-aging and antioxidant properties. Green tea extract is said to help repair the effects of aging and damage from environmental factors. The active constituents Catechin - Polyphenols in Green tea are potent antioxidants.
